The NBA draft is just a week away and we still have no idea who anyone is taking. The cavs, who have the 8th pick in this years draft will have a very important decision coming up do they make a selection and look to rebuild or do they possibly trade the pick in a package in hopes of bringing in another star player? If they do go the draft route they made need to start looking at new players. According to Tyler Conway of bleacher report Sacramento is seriously considering taking Micheal Porter jr with the 2nd pick in the draft who many had linked to the cavs wanting to take. Porter who many looked at as a potential number 1 pick dealt with a back injury that kept him off the court at Missouri for the whole season playing in only a few games. Although he is no longer looked at as a possible number 1 pick he still is viewed by many as a very talented player who can excel at the pro level. As for the cavs they have also been linked to Colin sexton and Trae Young and with this year being such a deep draft if porter does go at 2 they will have plenty of good options at eight.
